Todd Lubar’s foray into real industry happened shortly after graduating from Syracuse University. He got a job working with Crestar Mortgage Corporation. This was his first step toward becoming a dominate force in the industry. He wasn’t working directly in real estate, but mortgage banking tapped into his love of finance, and it opened the door for real estate.
He joined Crestar Mortgage as a loan originator. Even before he got the job, he knew that finance and real estate would become his lifelong pursuit. Working in mortgage also gave his the opportunity to learn more about the finance industry as it relates to real estate, in particular, the model of conservative mortgage banking.
Years later, Todd Lubar moved on to an equity position with Legacy Financial Group. He immediately began exploring his new lending capabilities. He now brokered loans with outside investors and operated as a direct mortgage bank.
In 2002, he left Legacy Financial and started his own firm, Legendary Properties, LLC. His company facilitated the rapid strategy of buying, rehabilitating, selling, and profiting on over 200 transactions. The types of properties they dealt with ranged from single family homes to multi-family dwellings. For more details visit Inspirery.
He accomplished this feat by using an incredible source of referral business that he’d been building since his days with Crestar. Having connections with experts in all trades of the industry allowed him to complete his projects in a timely fashion. This allowed him to establish multi-million dollar lines of credits with numerous major banking institutions.
After so many years in real estate and finance, Todd Lubar wanted to explore more. He continued to establish finance companies, including Charter Funding, a Magus Financial Corp’s division. After Charter Funding, Lubar branched into other industries. The list of companies he owns range from the demolition and recycling industries to the nightclub industry.
In an article on GC Report, he returned to finance and real estate and launched TDL Global Ventures. He still maintains his other companies, but mortgage banking has always been his strongest talent. TDL is about helping people in need of loans.
